About Brandon Community Foundation Grants
Grants are awarded to area 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations who strive to improve the quality of life for all ages in the areas of arts, recreation, education and health & public safety.
To apply, please fill out the application form and return to the Brandon Community Foundation. Deadline to apply is Friday September 15th, 2020 . 2020 grants will be awarded at the Oak & Vine on October 30th, 2020. Grant recipients must be present at Oak and Vine 2020!!

Arts grants are awarded to local organizations that are involved with theatre, music, arts, dance etc.
Education grants are awarded to organizations involved with learning, supporting educational facilities and systems, cultural development, historic preservation, library programs, museums etc.
Past Recipeints include Invent Now, Junior Achievement of South Dakota, Brandon Library, Brandon MOPS, Brandon Historical Society, Brandon Food Pantry, Brandon Hometown Days.
Recreation grants are awarded to organizations that are involved with local public parks, sports programs and other recreational activities that promote fitness etc.
Past recipients include Special Olympics of South Dakota, Hoops of Hope, Brandon Athletic Department, Brandon Baseball Association, Brandon Area Soccer Association, Brandon Tennis Association.
Health and Public Safety grants include organizations which promote the improvement of health care, prevention of substance abuse, support of mental health needs, medical research, protection of natural area, recycling, conservation of energy, prevention and elimination of pollution, wildlife protection, water quality etc.
Past recipients include Brandon Fire Department, City of Brandon.
